Celtel last week completed the installation of a 3 mile point to point wireless link from Llanddona, a broadband black spot, to Red Wharf Bay in order to supply broadband internet access to a local businessman.
Utilising 802.11a technology and carrier grade wireless equipment Mr Hope-Robinson, once tied to a dial-up line now enjoys 2Mbps internet access. |
